My name is Shelly Slayton. I am the owner operator of N. Az. Explorations. I was born and raised in Flagstaff. I come from a pioneering family who has been here since the early 1900’s. My great grandparents dry farmed sweet potatoes and pinto beans east of town. I myself grew up “in town”. My father and grandfather owned and operated a commercial plumbing and heating company. Vic Slayton plumbing and heating. Many of the construction jobs were on the Navajo reservation and at the rim of the Grand Canyon. I would often join my dad when he would go out to the job sites and developed a love of riding the roads of Arizona from a very young age. I have spent my career as a sales executive for some of the top hospitality companies in the world. Getting people to relax and enjoy each other is the first step in having a great experience.... I am an expert at that. I have combined my love of Northern Arizona with the ability to get people laughing and talking together. It’s a fantastic combination.
